New NYX Palettes – Product Pictures, Reviews and Swatches

Author: I ordered a few of the new NYX palettes while they were on sale from the website. I got them today and I was pretty impressed with what I saw. These new eyeshadow palettes are lovely, they come in much more high quality packaging and seem more durable than the packaging from the trios. The top of the palette is a full mirror and they shut tightly with a strong clasp. The quality of the shadows is really nice. the texture is so smooth and creamy. Not chalky at all. The shadows in the Caribbean Collection are the same size as the shadows in the trios. The rest of the shadows in the palette are a bit smaller but still good size. I used the Secret World Palette today and really liked how easy to blend and how vibrant the colors were. I was able to do my entire eye with this palette alone! I love that! These will definitely be great for travel!
NYX 5 Color Shadow from the Caribbean Collection – I dream of Jamaica Palette This is a great day or evening palette. Has the right combination for a simple look or super smokey!
NYX 5 Color Shadow from the Caribbean Collection – I dream of St. Lucia Palette When ever I look at this palette I think of the MAC Manish Palette that came out last year.. Same color tones together. The color combination is fabulous!

@ Em- The palettes have been so far great, I used one yesterday and another today and have not been dissapointed in them. The price is crazy cheap for what you get. Let me know if you pick some up, curious to know what you think!
@Olivia- I have used alot of NYX and there are somethings I like better than others. Some of their stuff is fantastic and some is only so so… But these palettes are pretty great! Thanks for the comment!
The Smokey eye quad looks gorgeous. How is it? Are these as good as their singles? Love your blog btw =).
@Fabuless Beauty- Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting! I really appreciate it! In my opinion the shadows in the palettes are exactly the same as the singles. I only have a couple to compare them too, but they are both smooth, creamy and super pigmented! Im a sucker for smokey eye palettes too and that one is def. one of my fav's!
These palettes look really nice! A HUGE thank you for the swatches! I love NYX products but because I have to purchase them always from the Net I really appreciate swatches in order to know what to order.

@ Sharlene A- I actually saw a sale posted on Specktra.net When the palettes launched they were 50% off! So yes I did get a deal. Im still in shock over how cheap they were!

@Xannon- Thank you so much for visiting and commenting. The palettes that I have seem to duplicate alot of the same colors. They are all ready nice and smooth though…
My favorite of the palettes are champagne and caviar and the Smokey eye palette. You could definitely create a few great day and evening looks with both of those.
i have a friend in Austria who orders NYX from Non Parallel Boutique and cherry culture.com they both ship international. So maybe check with both of them!

may i know all the pigmentation, color that hav been featured in the 10 Color Shadow Palette for the eyes only and the Runaway collection , are the colors taken from the trio collection? cause i dont have the swatches that comparing the trio and the 10 color palette.
the reason is i might just purchase more colors in one palette rather than trio.

@ Xannon- Hi! Sorry for the delay! I have probably 5 of the trios that I depoted and put in a mac palette. I havent looked at them in a while. But I will drag them out and compare. I have noticed that in the palettes there are alot of color dupes. But I almost feel as if the shadows in the palettes are nicer in the trios. They arent as chalky.
This weekend I will swatch the trios I have at home and send them to you to see. then you can have a better idea of how they look compared to the palettes!
is okay.im more than glad that you reply to me questions.my friend currenly in NYC for 2 more days so i will ask her to buy me some palettes.but its pretty hard to choose now, cause i find that the smokey eyes palette has quite dark color whihc i seldom wear it.

Go down toward the bottomn and click to see the full picture. But there are the trios swatches that I depoted as well as swatches for all of the palettes I have. Hopefully this will help you in deciding which colors will work best for you!
The palettes are all a great group of various colors so easy to do alot of diffrent looks. Strike a pose and jazz night palettes are my favorite cause you can keep a neutral eye but then add a pop of color the days you are feeling it!

I have green/brown eyes and I am trying to pick which palettes to buy. I have medium brown hair, pale skintone and freckles. I am leaning towards the green eye palette, Secret World and Jazz Night. I think these will give me a good variety and go well with my eyes. Do you like Secret World and Jazz Night?

I honestly think secret world would look amazing on you. I have dark hair and brown eyes and greens look the best on me. Its a great combination of shades and complimentary colors! Jazz night is a total different look though. Like smokey eyes and softer looks too. I think both are great palettes for your collection!!
