Challenge: A Week in Advance- Remembering Most Loved Products
I thought it would be fun to challenge myself to use some unloved items in the traincase this week. I often feel I ignore some and give more attention to others. I saw Michelle from Lipstick Rules doing something similar a while back and thought it was a fabulous idea! So this week I am planning my looks in advance!
The Looks are as follows…
- Lorac Snake Charmer Palette and MAC Kanga Rouge Lipstick
- MAC Danger Zone Trio and MAC Viva Glam IV
- NARS Rated R and MAC Slimshine in Gentle Simmer
- MAC MES in Fresh Green Mix and Urban Decay Lipstick in Vinyl
- L’Oreal Bouquet of Strength and MAC What a Do lipstick
This are just basic items that I am planning to incorporate in my looks for the day! Everything else is left to creativity.

Here are the results of my personal challenge! Everyday cant be a perfect picture, some facial expressions are a bit goofy but on another note I did enjoy remembering why I loved these products!

That's a great idea! The Lorac palette and the Danger Zone trio both look really pretty. I have quite a bit of stuff I neglect or forget about…then someone blogs about one of those items and I remember to use it

I'm sort of doing a similar thing right now…at least I'm working on it! I'm trying to make an excel spreadsheet with all of my eyeshadow and lip colors first though. Then I check off each one as I use it. It's so embarrassing, (including samples, which I've got tons of!) the number is getting really high! I won't let myself buy a new shadow or lipstick until I've used all the ones I have AT LEAST ONCE! Well, I can still get samples of LE stuff, but I'm on a strict budget, so the $7 for 15 colors is still a good deal!
I can't wait to see the results! The Nars duo looks pretty, but something I would probably only wear every few months!

Yay — love how you are doing this!
What I've started doing is putting all the makeup i want to use in a basket so I select at the beginning of the week and use all the stuff in the basket. I plan to change the contents of this basket every week. We'll see if it works out!
