Getting Ready for the Wedding: The Makeup
The original plan was for me to complete Jineanes wedding day makeup but after the frustration with the airbrushing and the Big hair gone bad deli-ma the bride had already faced that day you can imagine the fear that was in me when it came time to do her makeup. I wanted to her day to be as amazing as possible, I definitely didn’t want to be included in her story as another reason things went wrong!
I know I have been talking about the horrors of getting ready and all the negatives but let me just clarify something. Jineane was definitely not a Bridezilla or unreasonable at all. She just wanted what any Bride wants, Perfection! If only for one day…
We started working on her look and it all came together flawlessly. On top of the airbrushing we used the new MAC matte Perfect Cheek blush and added a bit of NARS Albatross right above it. Nars Orgasm on her lips and finished with her eyes- MAC Bare Study paint as a base and MAC Shroom, Wedge and Yogurt softly blending together. Topped of with MAC Blacktrack and MAC #4 lashes.
I honestly wouldn’t changed a thing and couldn’t have been happier with the final result. Luckily she felt the same.At the end of the day she did look perfect! All the extra effort and stress was completely worth it!
