Make it Work: Black Knight (Mac Style Black)
So heres what I came up with!
Combos are (not in order) 1- Black Knight Lipstick over MAC Pro Lipmix in Crimson. 2- Black Knight with MAC Pro Lipmix in Gold. 3- Black Knight with New MAC Dazzlecream Gloss Amorous over the top. 4- Black Knight Alone.
Black Night Creemsheen is definitely more sheer and buildable than what Midnight Media is. So I chose it figuring it would be easier to work with.What do you think? Would you wear any of the combos? I admit some of the combinations are more wearable than others, But arent they fun?I loved creating the different combinations and I have to say in person they are so much prettier and I actually think I will use this color often! (not alone however:) Above OCC lip tar with Black knight applied on top! It totally tones down the “brightness” and I love it!(full pic below)

black lips? ewww! even abby from NCIS doesn't wear black on her lips! but if i had to pick i'd pick the gold lipmix (are you surprised?) and the occ is cute but i'm sure it's cute on its own too.

GIRLS LISTEN! The pics look terrible compared to the real life version. I think cause I was taking them in the evening and the lighting was bad. Were so shinny glossy glittery gorgeous!

Great post, you 've shown some really cool ways to wear Black Knight!
I 'd probably wear it to tone done another shade, or with a red l/s, I 'm curious as to what that would look like…
Still not sure though if I should pick Black Knight over Midnight Media, I 'm afraid it's staying power isn't that great since it's a cremesheen… What would you suggest?

@Tina_mbc- Thank you, I appreicate it! With the red it looked amazing. I put red gloss over the top and it was gorgeous.
I originally thought the creamsheen would be easier to work with. But now I am wondering if the midnight media would be. The BK didnt want to stay in place when I was applying it in certain areas. like outer lip or center pout, etc. But then again midnight media I dont think will be very easy to tone down. Because its matte and black… Im thinking If I was to do over.. I would probably still stick with Black Knight… maybe just combine a black pencil for certain areas I want to really stand out.

Love! Love! love! =) Id probably use it to tone down other lipsticks I have. I think im brave enough to rock it alone, probably a good idea to scare off thieves/snatchers when commuting LOL

Am I weird b/c I didn't "feel" this collection at all? Maybe it is because I'm so dang old, but I saw it and just said "meh". I guess you know me pretty well, this isn't really in my realm of colors that I stick to anyway.

@Jbreezy- No worries I understand! School keeps a girl busy!! I bought it for fun knowing I would never wear it.. But then was surprised with some of the combinations I created it is actually pretty fun to have and I think I will use it!

@Houston Living- Danelle- omg. No! I didn’t feel it either. I wasn’t even planning to look at it, but since when I was at my store they told me they had it I checked it out for everyone. I rather pretty bights rather to darks. I know you do too! (love the blues on you~!! ) But I just tried to look at this line with a different eye. How I could incorporate it with what I have instead of trying to use the whole collection on me at once. I truly only picked up a couple things. Most of it was easy to skip over! But as I was saying above. I really am having fun with Black knight know alone it will never get any love!
