Chanel Coco Pink Drugstore $ 2.00 Dupe!
I have gone back a couple times to pick up this color and they dont have it. I look online and its not there. I cant understand why this shade seems to be so hard to come by.
Well today I was at CVS picking up a few necessities and of course browsing the cosmetics section while I was there. My daughter hands me a lipstick and says “Mom this color doesn’t look like a Blue Rose” I look at the item she handed me and it is a NYC Lipstick that is the most amazing blue pink that instantly reminded me of my Chanel lemming. I have never purchased from this brand before, but at $1.99 I didn’t care how awful it might be. I was giving it a shot!
Forgive the blurry pic. I put the case on my phone without taking the plastic covering off of my lens and now I cant get it off. To the left see swatches of Chanel Coco Pink and to the right NYC Blue Rose. NYC is a bit brighter pink, but they are very close and very blue! Both gorgeous. I honestly thought I would hate the NYC lip color. But it was long wearing and very pigmented! Definitely not disappointed at all.
Just wanted to share my finding!

Hi – really great website you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to publish a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically pleasing. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed playing with computers and am trying to learn computer code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).
