Buxom Leatherette Gel Lash Liner and Enhancing Conditioning Treatment
I was online looking for a way to spend my Sephora VIB coupon and I ran across a new product from Bare Escentuals. The brand is now offer a product called Buxom Lash Liner AND Lash Enhancing Conditioning Treatment.
This product is very similar to MAC Fluidline (in Black track) or another version of a gel liner. More…
The difference is that this liner claims to contain a thickening conditioning agent that will help take your lashes to new volumes! Click the picture below for the full instructions of the product.
I have problem lashes. Thin, straight and almost embarrassing. So anything that tells me that it can make my lashes better without costing hundreds of dollars is something I can never pass up!
I have only used this a coupe of days, so far so I cant speak on the volume- izing benefit quite yet but as far as eyeliner performance- It is fantastic! It is a beautiful dark black color and it stays in place beautifully all day long. Below are a few comparison swatches against some other gel liners.
Buxom Leatherette, Bobbi Brown Black Ink, Urban Decay Zero, MAC Pro black creme liner swatches.
I will definitely be back with more details on the lash conditioning agent but for now I just wanted to share with you this new fabulous eyeliner swatches

Wow! That is super dark! It makes Mac's liner look pale. LOL!
I'm a big fan of the Buxom lip glosses… I may have to give some of their other products a try!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for this! When I saw this at Sephora a few months ago I was really curious about it. But the review's on Sephora's website aren't very good. I didn't know this is also a lash enhancing product! So if you have good results I am totally going to get it!!! I already have more than enough black gel liners but if this one has some added benefits I can't really pass it up!

i've been eyeing this for a while! i found it extremely creamy in the tester, it's good and bad cuz i'm worried it may smudge more often – how is the smudge proof level compared to blacktrack fluidline?

@Katie- It is really dark! But I think Blacktrack is still darker on the eye. I do really like it though. If the lash enhancement works, then It will replace anything else for me !
@Guitarrsara- I didnt read the reviews. But I really like it. I pray the lash enhancing stuff works. I need a boost, lol!
@Joolee- hii!!!!! I think the consistency is similar to most products of its kind. It does stay on all day and doesnt smudge. But I dont think its as black as blacktrack.
@I love buxom too!!

Hi Diana. I was just working on my update for this review. I have used this everyday for 3 weeks now and I do not see any change in my lashes. I have problem lashes. So let me say that first but I have not noticed length, thickening or anything else. The color is very black I like that. But It does not dry as fast as other cream liners I have tried. If it did intensify my lashes I would deal with that, but sense it doesn’t Im gonna go back to what I know and love. ( MAC Blacktrack Fluidline)

Hey i was just wondering if it did make your lashes thicker. I’m soo tempted to try this product but it just sounds a bit stretched.

Hi Maggie! I have bad lashes anyway so hopefully others have had better results… But for me. Nuttin! I am currently using Revlon grow lash mascara and I think I am seeing more benefit from it then I did from the above…
Let me know if you try it though and how it works for you!!
