Stila Barbie Smudge Pot- Purple Pumps! Cobalt Clutch and Little Black Dress EOTD
I have developed a fascination with Stila Smudge pots. It all started with needing Little Black Dress and after trying this color my urge to build my smudgepot collection could not be stronger.
I am not a huge fan of glitter on my eyes, But the glitter in these pots are beautiful! I love the mix of colors and how it brightens the eyes.
Check out the photo with Purple Pumps! Could the color be any brighter? I used this as a shadow on top of MAC Bare Canvas Paint. This was a new technique for me because with cream shadows I have always been in the habit of using them as a base… but with these smudge pots I was determined to show off their amazing color and the glitter inside!
Same with the Cobalt Clutch. Such an intense amazing blue. It really remind me alot of MAC Mineral Eyeshadow (MES) in Sea and Sky. This pic was taken at the end of the day. I got so many compliments on my eyes wearing this color. Maybe this is backup worthy?
Above is a look with Little Black Dress. Its so pretty! I truly love all the Barbie Smudge pot colors and know even in my crazy makeup collection they will get lots of love!! Check out some comparison swatches here.

Fabulous…soo glad you talked me into buying all these, spending more money on things that I NEED!! they are fabulous just as eyeshadow when in a hurry…But please you don't need to talk me into anything else I NEED! Really!

I know this is an old post, but how do you get them to apply? I tried to wear mine as an eyeshadow, and it wasn’t very smooth….it kept moving around so that skin ended up showing. I ended up packing it with a matching shadow.

Hi Mika! I first apply them on my lid and then blend upward into a cream base to get them to look smoother when dried. If not they dry (fast)looking like 2 diffrent textures I then apply my crease and highlight colors and then reaapply the smudgepot on my lid. This second “coat” is how you get the intense color. I apply using a concelour type brush. I hope this helped you a bit! Let me know!

I dont remember exactly. I know when I usually wear it I use Too Faced Mess in a dress on the crease and carbon to tone it down and blend the colors together. Im pretty sure thats what I did there! Thanks for your comment!
