The Exit Interview- To Repurchase or Not?

Submitted by Sara on January 31, 2010 – 9:03 pm11 Comments

Its  that time again for another round of “The Exit Interview” A final review on finished products before they hit the trash.

I just finished up a few products I wanted to mention.

  1. MAC Eye Makeup Remover- This is something I run out of often. Check out those details here!
  2. MAC Fix Plus- This is so similar to charged water in my opinion so those details are here as well :)
  3. Its a 10 Miracle Leave in Product- I really like this product. I used it in my daughters naturally curly hair and loved how soft it made it feel. I love they fact that it doesn’t have a bunch of chemicals in it as well!  This .04 oz bottle probably lasted us about 2 months with almost daily use. It really does spread well through the hair.
  4. MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator- Finally finished with this product! Actually I still have a bit left from my original tub from its original launch. I liked this on my face. I probably used it once a week or so. I loved it on my legs and arms even more though!
  5. MUFE (Makeup Forever) All Mat Makeup Primer- I really like this primer. But to me I cant tell too much of a difference using it verses Smash box Photo finish. They are very similar in my opinion. Which in case is even similar to the Monistat Chaffing Gel that I have heard raves about as face primer which contains the same key ingredients. I think will be my next primer purchase…

And of course dont forget to recycle all the empty goods! We all know about Back 2 MAC for our empties- But lets not forget about the Origins Recycling Program , they take ANY empty containers, this includes shampoo bottles, etc. Not just makeup containers!

oh i didn’t realize origins takes shampoo bottles and the like – can’t you just recyle that with your town’s recycling program… i guess not everyone has that though huh? do you get a perk for returning to origins?

If you bring to origins they will give you samples, etc. So its fun to get to try some new products as well as doing some good!

    Hi, Sara!

I LOVE that you do “exit interviews”! What a cute idea!

I love MUFE and Smashbox as much as the next gal, but they’re so expensive! I’ve heard great things about Monistat as well. It’s worth a shot! :)
