Benefit Cheek Color Discussion and Size Comparison

Submitted by Sara on March 12, 2010 – 3:47 pm6 Comments

Dandelion was my first benefit powder. Even with all the other blushes and brands I own Benefit is one of my new found favorites. After my first benefit blush purchase I have been quickly trying to add to my collection. The Powderazzi and Powder Pop boxes were a great way for me to do this! These items gave me the opportunity to try three Benefit Cheek colors in one box!

I found these Beauty Powder boxes on Beautyticket for 16.99 (yay) This was an inexpensive way for me to try the multiple cheek colors. Unfortunatly these arent available on Beautyticket any longer however Powerazzi is still on the Benefit Cosmetics website for $30.00

To the left is Powderazzi with comes with Coralista (top left) Hoola (top right) and Dallas (bottomn left)

On the right is Powder Pop comes with Hoola (top left) Dandelion ( top right) and Dallas (bottomn left)

Above is a full size benefit powder ( Coralista) 0.42 oz compared to the threesome which each color is 0.1 oz (totaling 0.3 oz)

Though I love all the colors AND I love the idea of the little three pack of shades. The powders are about the size of an eyeshadow ( like mark shadows, if youve seen those) so this in my opinion makes them hard to use! Each color is seperated from each other so its not really possbile to dip your brush in and blend the colors together. My blush brush barely fits into one square with the seperator. It does take a bit of extra work. But well worth it!

Even with this little bit of discouragement I am not dissapointed. They are all lovely and I will use them often!

Have you tried Benefit blushes? Which are your favorite?

Le drool. I only have the Sugarbomb and the Dandelion but of course I want them all. Great price, by the time I found out about the sale, it was over. Boo…next time. Thanks for the review Sara! Even though they’re small, its great for travel or when you’re undecided-like myself :-)

Exactly! I was unsure about hoola and dallas, if they would work on me or which I would need so this was perfect opportunity to check first hand! Ohh how do you like Dandelion! Im sure on your skin tone it gives you a gorgeous glow! Sugarbomb is pretty… I will have to pick that up soon!

Great review – I didn’t realise they would be so small! I think it would be tough to get a blush brush in there – great colours though.
