Nordstroms Estee Lauder Dramatic Volume Eye Kit

Submitted by Sara on March 15, 2010 – 10:12 amNo Comment

While I was picking up a backup of MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick I came across  Estee Lauder Mascara kit on the Nordstroms website. For $21.00 you get a fullsize  Magnascopic Mascara, .1 oz Lash Primer Plus and 1 fl oz Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I thought this was a great deal because the mascara alone is the same price

  • Magnascopic Mascara - There are pluses and minuses for me regarding this mascara. My favorite part is the wand. It really does an amazing job of seperating the lashes. No clumps with this product at all! I even felt that the brush helped curl my lashes a bit. The mascara is very black which is also important, but the product itself didnt offer me any lash enchancing benefits. It did not lengthen nor plump my lashes while using this product alone.
  • Lash Primer Plus- This is definitely some thing you NEED to use with the magnascopic  Mascara. This really helps to boost up the volume in the lashes. It works like the same as most primers of its kind.
  • Gentle Eye Makeup Remover- There are quite a few eye makeup removers I love ( Lancome Bi Facial, Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover, MAC PRO Eye & Lip Remover) and also quite a few I hate ( Body Shop Eye Makeup Remover, CVS Brand Makeup Remover) The reason I hate them being that they just dont work for me. I wear alot of eye makeup. Probably no diffrent than most of you.  But if a remover cannot remove my eyeliner, it is classifed as a “hated” item for me. Unfortunatly, the Estee Lauder Eye Makeup remover is being classified that very same way. This product takes off all of my eyeshadow, but leaves all eye liner and mascara behind. :(

Used any of the above?
