Real Effortless Beauty (A Random Thought)
Rissa had a school project where they were learning about butterflies. They received a caterpillar and watched it go though all life’s stages. We waited and waited for it to move into its chrysalis. Then we waited for it to emerge as a beautiful butterfly. Through this process it made me think of what a perfect example of us this is…
This can relate to so many different aspects in our own life. Starting with how we feel about our selfs to how we see others change in thier own lives. Patience and time will most often bring forward something amazing. Something that was always destined to be.
I know in my own life I have gone though alot of things to get where I am today. Sometimes I cant even realize the change. I will be looking at past pictures and be in shock at how I once looked or even when someone tells a story of something I did or said- In shock that they are talkimg about me. Sitting here so grateful that I am now better than I once was inside and out… I think makeup has helped me discover my beauty and help me embrace how I look. I hate when people think makeup= vanity. To me its artistic and much more.
What about you? Can you see in your own the life the kind of transformation you have experienced? Is Makeup a part of that?

Yes, for me make-up is a lot more than just vanity, is expression. It’s kinda making easier for people to see you like you want them to see you. Plus, now that I really look at my face everyday I feel like I know my streghts and weakness a lot better. Plus, it’s nice to look prettier!

Hi Julia! I agree. You said that so wonderfully! It really does help express who you are how you want people to see you!!!

Oh yes you are right. I grew up with a mom who only uses lipstick and she’s good to go but being exposed in the real world I started to come out of my shell and explore and incorporated make up along the way. I liked the result.
And yes, I hate people who think make-up is vanity. Make-up makes me happy. What makes us happy won’t hurt. Just that there are people who just can’t help but comment and be opinionated about things.
