Elf Cream Liner Comparison and Swatches- Two Shades and MAC Blacktrack
Above Elf Cream Liner in Black and Ivory are pictured. These liners are part of Eyeslipsface studio collection and retail for $3.00. What a value. As I was swatching I was so impressed. The color payoff is so nice and Black is soooo Black! Check out the swatches below. Ivory really looks alot more silver than I had expected. But I actually like it better because of this as well. (FOTD and eye swatches here)
I also posted a comparison swatch of the Elf Cream liner with MAC Blacktrack. You can see the finish is very different on the two but the payoff and color are both fabulous.
Has Blacktrack met its match?
The Cosmetic items discussed in the above post were sent to me for consideration. Anything written is my own opinion and not influenced by any other person or company.

Hi Mikki! I am super impressed! Dried fast and hasnt budged! I posted more info here: http://themakeupsnob.com/2010/08/elf-fotd-review-featuring-black-cream-liner-lipstick-in-gypsy/
I have tried alot of gel liners and I always end up going back to blacktrack but this for me is definitley a winner! I think Ill use it for a while!

wow… it just kinda looks like the ELF is more matte than blacktrack! that looks really nice! I have the wet n wild one and I wonder if its as good as these? Did the color stay pretty good?

So far the staying power is fab. It hasnt budged or flaked and I keep on rubbing it, etc.
I talked about it a bit more here: http://themakeupsnob.com/2010/08/elf-fotd-review-featuring-black-cream-liner-lipstick-in-gypsy/

i always wondered about light eyeliners – howdo you plan to wear them because (from my experience) they don’t show up to well on the waterline and (of course just personal oppinion again) i like to line the top with darker colors…

I dont wear gel liners on the water line. Only on top. I use stick liners on the waterline
The light one can be used to brighten your eye as liner or a great base for the lid!

wow! I have blacktrack and ELF’s gel liner! I think I got a bad seed in the fluidlines because mine applies so sheerly compared to the ELF one!I mean, it’s hard to imagine that it is the same blacktrack here in your blog!

Hey Ruru. I would definitely check your fluidline. Maybe take it into your store? Blacktrack is not sheer- but it is a different formula than the elf version for sure. Its more gel like so its texture is alot softer than the elf version. With Blacktrack I do need to apply more at a time than the elf though. Maybe that helps?
