ELF Glitter Gloss compared to MAC Dare to Wear Lip Color- swatches

MAC Dare to Wear Bold and Brash gloss is one of my favorite reds for sure. Its gorgeous with a pink sparkle. Its opaque and easily covers the whole lip in maybe a swipe or two. This is one item from MAC that I wished I would have stocked up on. Though I am no where close to being finished I know I will be sad to see this tube come to an end.

While in Target recently I saw a few new items from ELF (eyeslipsface) that had been added. Glitter gloss in Glitter Cranberry just happened to be one of them. At the time I purchased it just to check out something new from the brand. But with no expectations I can say that I was pleasantly surprised to see this shade was so close to an all time favorite.

Glitter Cranberry is alot more sheer than Bold and Brash but as far as colors go they are very similar.I think if you were to apply the elf version over a red lippie you will have a very close comparable. Even on its own its a great color. The glitter gloss offers a great amount of shine and subtle amount of red that any skintone could easily wear.
