Crystal Clear Images with Sony A55 DSLR

I never really grasped the benefit of taking pictures with a DSLR until after IMATS last summer when I got home and looked through all the pictures I took with Nymphette. We pretty much took all of the same pictures for the most part along the trip but the difference was she used her DSLR and I shot with my point and shoot Panasonic Lumix. When you looked at the pictures that we took side by side it was amazing the difference in color quality.
So I have recently purchased my own DSLR, A Sony a55 which I have fallen in love with since first click. With the holidays and such I havent been able to play with makeup much but I have some amazing family shots that I dont think would have been possible without this camera.
One last point is the difference in my makeup with the DSLR. For those with pale skin I know you understand- the flash can wipe us completely out of the picture. I can spend an hour contouring my face adding multi colors and dimentions but am unable to show you any of that most of the time.
So this as just a heads up and a hello and hope you like the new images in upcoming posts.
Hope you all are well! Xox! Sara

Congrats on the new camera! One thing I have a DSLR and it really does make the difference. I wanted to mention Adobe’s Lightroom. A lot of photographers use it. You can get a 30 day trial to test it out and see if you like it. I just got it to try out yesterday, and if I like it I am going to fork over the money to buy it.

I know right!?! I didn’t think the difference was going to be that noticeable for me as I’m really not a great photographer but even with my limited skills I can see a massive difference.
