I Trust my Face to CoverFX – Setting FX, Bronze FX and Matte FX

Since finding Cover FX one product or another from the brand finds its way into part of my daily routine. I had an opportunity to use the brands face and eye primers which I spoke to you about here. I have also been able to try the brands Loose Setting Powder, Matte FX and Bronze FX. I have incorporated these products into my routine since May of last year and with months of use I easily can tell you they have become some of my favorites.

Cover FX Loose Setting Powder- I received this product in shade translucent. With my pale skin I knew this was the only option for my skin tone though through months of use my skin color has changed quite a bit so I was a bit worried if the color would still work. In early summer I got sprayed by the Self Tanning Queen Sinead at her launch for Couture Glow. I also used the Beautisol Face Tanner all summer long and still with my tan skin the Cover FX translucent powder blended perfectly into my skin tone. I am coming close to finishing the same container that I started using daily in May. So you can see how long this product has lasted- making it quite the value.

Cover FX Oil Absorbing Primer and Blotting Powder- This Matte FX product reminds me a lot of MAC Blot Powder and has actually replaced my use of this product. I like the Cover FX version because the shades are a lot more forgiving on the skin. But both versions absorb oils equally as well in my opinion.

Cover FX Bronze FX- Anything that I put on my face as a base- meaning primers, foundations, blushes, powders and bronzers I prefer to only use products that have a matte or satin finish to them for daily wear. I prefer to avoid products that are to shimmery or glowey  on the skin for most days. When I first took a look at the Bronze FX from the brand I was a bit worried when I saw the gold glitter in the product.  However when applied to the skin the glitter doesn’t transfer to the cheek the way you imagine from looking at the container. It instead offers a nice more natural color with a pretty gold sheen in the sunlight.  A TIP for the pale skin beauties like me – This product can be worn for multiple skin tones but be very light with your application or you will pick up too much color. The brush you use will make all the difference for you when applying. Avoid Kabukis and instead try a brush such as a MAC 197 or a Sonia Kashuk  Duo Fibre brush that will both help you apply a lighter layer of product.

Cover FX is a brand that caters to every skin tone, texture and type. No matter if you haver perfect skin or problem skin you will find just the right products for your need. Check out the site for more products and details.
