Makeup Organization Ideas – Elfa 10 Drawer Storage System

I have been searching for some kind of storage container that would give me a place to put all of my extra makeup items that have been sitting around in misc boxes and other random containers for the last few years. It had been taking me forever to find something that would work because I was trying to be frugal with the project but then finally decided in the long run the Elfa Storage system would for me, work best.

When you go to The Container Store or wherever Elfa is sold near you- you will see that there is a seperate shelf system for kitchens and for bedrooms. Make sure you take a look in both sections because each system offers different sizes unique to the rooms or line.

You can get a small, medium or large size stack for height and also build out the drawers width in multiple different ways. I picked up the 10 runner for the bedroom. This product can hold 10 thin drawers or less drawers if you select larger sizes because they use more than one runner. The two drawers at the bottom use 2 runners each so I have a total of 8 drawers.

Also with the bedroom version of this product you can purchase additional inserts to help you organize the contents of the drawers. Is this not the most perfect for makeup? Take a look inside the container in the picture below before you answer…

The drawers I chose were the medium size but they are still very large and able to hold so much. I love how nice this item looks and how everything fit inside so nicely.
