Whats is your Disclosure Policy?

The Makeup Snob.com does accept products from PR and companies for the purpose of review.  I review most items I receive. However because an item is sent to me does not guarantee a review.  Starting from December 2009 going forward you will find a disclosure statement at the bottom of every post indicating whether I purchased the item or if I received the item being reviewed.

Receiving items allows me to review more products for you but please know that what I write is 100% my opinion.  I will never sway or edit my opinions to please a company or individual. What I write applies to me and my personal use with the product.

I understand a product may work differently for every skin type or skin tone. Please consider that when reading.   I will never tell you to purchase a product or insist you need it. I will only share my feedback with you in hopes that it will help you make a more informed consumer decision.

Do you use a base with your Swatches?

All swatches are on dry skin without base unless noted in the post. I take multiple pictures and only post the picture that I feel best shows the color of the product. Please note color may look different on all monitors.

Do you do paid reviews?

I have never done a paid review. Products that I have received for the purpose of reviewing are reviewed the same as  those I purchase myself.  The content of All reviews as simple or as detailed are written based on my own opinion as well as my own use and expierence with the product.
