With both of these thoughts in my mind, I thought.. This product has to be more than just a black lippie. What combinations can I create that will make Black Knight usable on more than one occasion?

So heres what I came up with!
Combos are (not in order) 1- Black Knight Lipstick over MAC Pro Lipmix in Crimson. 2- Black Knight with MAC Pro Lipmix in Gold. 3- Black Knight with New MAC Dazzlecream Gloss Amorous over the top. 4- Black Knight Alone.

Black Night Creemsheen is definitely more sheer and buildable than what Midnight Media is. So I chose it figuring it would be easier to work with.

What do you think? Would you wear any of the combos? I admit some of the combinations are more wearable than others, But arent they fun?I loved creating the different combinations and I have to say in person they are so much prettier and I actually think I will use this color often! (not alone however:) Above OCC lip tar with Black knight applied on top! It totally tones down the “brightness” and I love it!(full pic below)

Four Beautiful shades of Color! Available in Products such as Chromalines (similar to paint pots), Pigments, Chromcakes, Paint Sticks and Micronized Airbrush formula! All products are available in Black Black, Primary Yellow, Hi Def Cyan and Process Magenta!

Its funny that these colors separately are amazingly pigmented and inviting but the 4 colors together are the building blocks of hundreds of colors!

For example: A color printer uses all four of these shades in the form of toners and the mixture of them creates any color imaginable!

So imagine the color combinations you could create with the above four colors! The chromalines are such a nice smooth texture that make mixing simple! Cyan and Magenta definitely speak to me! I feel like every time I try to wear hot pink shadow I don’t get the intensity that I am looking for! Hopefully the result I am looking for will change with this new item!
I am also really excited about mixing cyan and magenta together for a gorgeous purple shade… maybe add a little black to deepen it…

I went in the my favorite MAC Cosmetics store today to check out the Trend F/W 09 Collection and to my surprise MAC Style Black was there too! So I grabbed some swatches to share with all of you!

Lipsticks above are Black Knight, Night Violet and Midnight Media swatches. Below are Glimmergloss swatches in Blankware, Blankfire and Bling Black.

MY THOUGHTS: 


Black Knight is nice texture of course being that it is a creamsheen. It is a bit sheer which makes it a little more wearable. Midnight Media Mattene is a heavier texture and more black. Night Violet Mattene is gorgeous. I didnt remember loving this as much before. Maybe the way it stands out in this collection lets me see how beautiful it is!

The Glimmerglass colors are all kinda blah in the swatches but I was told that they look amazing over lipsticks. Especially Bling Black (Sheer black with gold pearl) over red! That is a combo that sounds amazing! The other colors are Blackfire (Sheer black with pink purple pearl) and Blackware (Creamy true black)

Mineralize Eye Shadows are gorgeous. The glitter is fine like reflects  glitter. I kept the swatches on my arm for quite some time and the glitter didnt flake away. These were even more amazing in color on top of the Grease Paintstick. Colors are
Cinderfella (Black silver pearl), Young Punk (Black pink purple pearl), Gilt by Association (Black gold bronze pearl), Blue Flame (black blue pearl)
