The Exit Interview- Estee Lauder, Philosophy and Mac
I just finished MAC Bare Canvas Paint, Philosophy Hope in a Jar and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. This is the time where I give you my final thoughts on the product after finishing it (and before recycling the container! Dont forget to Back to Mac or take the other empties to the Origins counter for some free samples!)
- Mac Bare Canvas Paint- I love this stuff. I honestly had sworn of paints for the longest time. The Packaging just never made sense to me when I compared the amount you get verses a paint-pot which in my opinion are very similar products. Even with this said I love Bare canvas, a little goes a long way and I definitely recommend it to anyone- but I will probably still replace with painterly paint pot. Just because I feel like it is a greater value…
- Philosophy Hope in a Jar- I love this moisturizer so much! Its so different than a list of others. Its so flight and fluffy on the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all! This is definitely something I will purchase over and over again!
- Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair- Unfortunately I didn’t use this consistently enough to say much about it. I know! Im sorry. I bought the big size too!! I I do love the way my face felt with this under my moisturizer . I continuously woke up with smooth soft skin in the morning. I will definitely purchase this product again.. and will use it consistently this time!
For even better results.
Have you tried any of the above? What are your thoughts?
Nordstroms Estee Lauder Dramatic Volume Eye Kit
While I was picking up a backup of MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick I came across Estee Lauder Mascara kit on the Nordstroms website. For $21.00 you get a fullsize Magnascopic Mascara, .1 oz Lash Primer Plus and 1 fl oz Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I thought this was a great deal because the mascara alone is the same price Read the rest of this entry »

Post ONE- Flirt Palette By Estee Lauder/ Swatches and Comparisons
Ok let me tell you about the Flirt 40 Palette made by Estee Lauder. This is a brand exclusive to Kohls. The Palette is 29.99 but I found it on sale for 24.99. I honestly cant take credit for this fabulous find. Tish bought it and after reading her comments I knew I must have too!
So here is a pic of the palette. I labeled the colors by number so to make comparisons easier. (Click for bigger pictures)
Let me start by saying that these shadows are the same size as MAC shadows and will fit in MAC Palettes. They are in a plastic shell but easily pop out for palette storage.
There are so many MAC dupes in this Flirt Palette. I swatched a few for you tonight for comparison. I will be back with plenty more in the next week.
Flirt 1 Looks Like MAC Shroom, Flirt 2 looks like Rose Blanc and 5 like MAC Vanilla… however these swatches wouldnt show up on my skin.
Check out a few more swatches below.
Urban Decay Shattered, MAC Steamy, Flirt 20, Stila Mystic Eyeshadow
MAC Humid, Urban Decay Mildew, Flirt 19 Shadow, MAC Bottle Green swatch
MAC Mink & Sable, Flirt 16, MAC Henna Eyeshadow Swatch
Check out More of the palette swatches here and more comparisons to come!!
