Elf Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths Tested!
So I hadnt heard alot of good things about the Elf (eyeslipsface) Makeup Removing Wipes. But even with that said I picked them up on sale during one of ELF’s sales. I planned on just using them for removing shadows from swatching, etc. But they did such a great job taking off shadows I decided to put them to the ultimate test. Read the rest of this entry »

Eyes Lips Face (ELF) Mineral Face Primer- A Review
I picked up the Mineral Infused Face Primer during ELF’s last 50% off sale. So instead of the unusual $6.00 elf price tag, it was only $3.00
I am all over new primers. I love anything that makes my skin look flawless, we all do right? I didnt have much luck with this product the first day I wore it. So I decided to wear it with a different foundation everyday to see if I had any better results. Please note these are foundations I already use that consistently work well for me.
- Day 1- Avon Cashmere Finish Foundation + Elf Mineral Primer = A mess! My foundation was pretty much gone my mid afternoon as well as the red patches in my skin were completly visable.
- Day 2- Revlon Photo Ready Foundation + Elf Mineral Primer = Another mess! Again a easy way to describe my face today matches the above. My foundation was about gone before the day was over. Even without primer my foundation doesnt budge- But this is making it roll right of my skin!
- Day 3- Mac Mineralize Foundation + Elf Mineral Primer Same bat time. Same bat channel… (same details apply as the above)
A few bits about my skin is that it is normal with a a semi oily t zone mostly depending on the current weather and temperature. With this product I been looking a wreck the past few days, by lunch my makeup is gone. I am honestly over trying any other combinations. If anyone else has tried this and had better results I would love to know!
For those who are looking to try this item maybe try this instead. Price points are close to the same, but for me it works much better! Find alot more details regarding this product as a primer from a group of lovely ladies here!
Eyeslipsface (Elf) Face and Body Buki (Kabuki)
I am not disappointed at all in the ELF Studio Kabuki brushes. They are sooooooo soft. I played with the brushes for a a couple hours and both of these brushes were holding up great. The shedding was almost none!
Did I mention these were soft? lol.. If you have the MUFE Kabuki they feel very similar. Check out how they compare in size below. ELF Body Buki, Face Buki, MUFE Buki and MAC Flat 183 Buffer brush. ( sorry for not cleaning the last two for the picture! They are bathing as I type!)
