I have always had short hair growing up. For years it would never grow past my shoulders.  In the last couple years my hair as gotten so long. Maybe due to the California water, a better diet? Not sure – but I was loving the length so much for the longest time I could never  imagine cutting it… Untill today!

I have been in a slump, or a rut or SOMETHING and really felt like I needed a change so yesterday…..I cut it all off! Well almost!

For a long while I have been loving the A-line cuts or angled bob made famous by Gweneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Rihanna and others!

I have recently falling in love with all things Coconut oil. So much that if I see a product with the ingrident I will more than likely purchase. Yes a bit obsessive. But I tend to be that way most of the time.
Alot of things that I come to love, Tish is quite offen responsible for introducing me to. In haircare and skincare if it works, I tend to not change it. Untill Tish told me about the Vatika Frosting from Hairveda. This is a coconut oil concoction that you apply to your hair like a deep conditioner. It smells like frosting, cake batter or similar deliciousness and I just wanna eat it!

I have been on a natural hare care high the last few months. It all started with a bottle of Trader Joes shampoo and after feeling such an amazing difference in my hair I continued the search for additional natural hair care products. Though my journey I have definitely tried things that I like more and less than others but once product that I have found that I will never be without is Hair Veda’s Cocasta Oil.

I use this weekly without fail on my hair as well as my daughters. Our hair textures are completely different, mine being heavy and straight and hers being long and naturally curly. Though our hair is different this works equally as well for both of us.

This product is blend of six various natural oils that work together to coat and soften your hair. This has also been said to promote hair growth.  This can be used in several different ways. I will add it into my hair after washing to soften and detangle.  Weekly I will coat my dry hair with the product and leave it in for hours while allowing it to deep condition my hair.

This product washes out easily without leaving any noticeable oils behind. Only softness, shine and an amazing scent!

This product cant be purchased at the manufacturers website for $11.00. After using this product I would gladly pay more. This has definitely been added to my list of HG (holy grail) items!

I feel like quite a few things I have been posting about lately have been per the recommendation of Tish. Look back and you will constantly hear me saying, Tish used this and I had to have it.
