How gorgeous are these YSL Palettes… Which ones? All of them! I dont know what it is about me and this brand. I am so drawn to it. I am convinced those gorgeous gold compacts can do no wrong. Any palette  I pick will automatically offer me happiness and eternal beauty. Ok not seriously but I do feel beautiful wearing these Yves Saint Laurent Compacts. Read the rest of this entry »

I have this fabulous friend from Austria that(I have spoken about before here) who I began chatting with on Temptalia’ s forum quite a while back and it has been non stop since then. I really enjoy listening to whats going on in her world and in return she listens to me ramble on about mine, however most conversation does revolve around makeup a great percent of the time, lol!
Today I received a surprise gift from this friend that I was not expecting in the least. I tore it open and almost cried. My day and entire weekend were brightened with this amazing package.
Birgit send a beautiful YSL Rouge Volupte lippie in #3 beige ultimate- Do you remember how much I love these? This color is no exception! It is gorgeous and looks similar to MAC brave new bronze and the new Benefit Lady’s choice lippie I just posted about. You already know these are my perfect nudes. It just proves another point that backups are un necessary. I love all three of these equally!
Guerlain terracotta gloss- Very Similar to the lipsticks mentioned above but in a gloss form. Cant wait to try this!
Urban Decay deluxe shadow in peace- Bright shadows and me are a perfect combination. This is a perfect light teal blue. Would have matched my outfit perfectly today, haha.
A gorgeous Dior polish in 211- which is a neutral pink with small multi color reflections which is perfect for me since my nails always seem to be breaking and showing off different lengths this polish doesn’t draw to much attention to them!
A Gorgeous red Chanel gloss sample in #75- that is a deep intense red. Cant wait to try this!
Dior Creme de gloss in 441- This is so pretty. Similar to the Guerlain but a bit more berry.
All of these items I am LOVING. they are all so beautiful and I cant wait to play with them.
I’m so grateful to this friend, not only for the amazing gift but for being a true friend even across the oceans! Thank you Birgit!!

So all of you who gave me props for passing by the Rouge Volupte Lipsticks at Nordstroms the other day, take the kind works back! Im weak! I got them! I found a seller on ebay who was selling these beautiful creatures for 16.00 shipped. Did you hear me? That’s less that half price! So I got two. They were shipped fast and are absolutely perfect! I couldnt be more happy and cant wait to order more though this seller again!
The lippies feel amazing on lips. Texture is really thin and creamy, but highly pigmented. They do have a bit of a per fumy smell to them that is a bit obnoxious but I am getting useto it. I notice this is the same with the Givenchy lipsticks too.
The colors that I picked up are left #17 Red Muse (same color that was featured in Elle top ten reds) and on the right, #11 Rose Culte which is a beautiful bright pink. Receiving these today has made my weekend!
